Tasks set forth by the KV Picket Alumni Association and the founding group and present status


1. Taking the first step - Initiating the movement (done)

2. Registration of the Association with the Registrar of Societies (done) - Regd No:1349/2005

3. Opening of the Bank Account (done) - A/c No:00480104, ICICI Bank, Secunderabad

4. Launching of the alumni website (interactive website/portal) creating a strong image for the Alumni Association, Pratibimb and a common platform for all to come together. Collecting and creating useful database about picketians (done and continuing)

5. Organisation of Pratibimb 2005 - First KV Picket Alumni Meet on 24th December, 2005 (done)

6. Increasing the KV Picket Network (in process and growing steadily with around 900 registered Picketians as on Jan 2008)
       i. By creating more awareness about the network, website
       ii. Integrating all databases of alumnus from Alumni.net and batchmates.com and other sources

7. Organising more Pratibimbs (Reunions), meets, get-togethers and strengthen the KVP network (is in process with Pratibimb 2007- The 2nd KV Picket reunion being successfully conducted with a larger turnout)

8. Reorganising the alumni association and preparing a long term sustainable plan for the movement, integrating the Association, Pratibimb-The Reunion as well as other activities. (in process with the new group taking over the reins)

9. Undertaking activities to benefit the school, schoolchildren, teachers under the title ‘Give Back’ by: (to be planned, structured and undertaken)
       • Liaisoning with the School Principal closely
       • Understanding the requirements of the school
       • Coming up with practical, achievable and feasible solutions
       • Understanding the ideas of the contributor(s)
       • Balancing the above two and coming up with a feasible and sustainable plan of action
       • Implementation of the activity
       • Feedback and monitoring of the activity

10. Creating of specific working groups to make the ‘Give Back’ programme a success. (to be planned structured and undertaken)

11. To undertake all activities in a transparent, democratic, inclusive and fair manner and to have a feedback and monitoring system for all activities.

12. Undertaking activities to benefit the alumni itself by increased and useful networking / social networking. (to be planned, structured and undertaken)
